Colour of the willow rods

Bark colour is an important means of identification of the various species of willow. Botanical aspects aside, being able to use rods that are purple, violet, green, orange and infinite shades of brown enables me to weave using entirely natural colours. The shades are very bright if the branch is fresh and tend to become paler as they dry out. The choice of the colour of the willow, as well as its shape and size, is fundamental to the creation of the structure.
